The Last Rose of Summer Tis the last rose of summer, left blooming alone
All her lovely companions are faded and gone
No flow'r of her kindred, no rose-bud is nigh
To reflect back her blushes or give sigh for sigh
여름날 마지막 남은 장미 홀로 피어 남았네
사랑하는 동료들 모두 곁에서 사라져 버렸는데
근처에는 어떤 종류의 꽃도, 어떤 장미 봉오리도 없는데
얼굴을 붉히며 한숨을 쉬고 있네
I'll not leave thee, thou lone one!
To pine on the stem
Since the lovely are sleeping, Go sleep thou with them
Thus kindly I scatter Thy leaves o'er the bed
Where thy mates of the garden Lie scentless and dead
나는 그대 외로운 장미를 버리지 않겠으리라
버리면 그 꽃자루가 애타게 그리룹고
꽃들은 꽃잎을 오므리고 잠들었으니 그들과 함께 잠들고
나는 즐거운 마음으로 그대의 잎을 잠자리에 뿌려 놓으리라
같이 꽃피던 친구들은 향기가 사라지고 시들어 버렸네
